Construction is underway on the Orlando Health Center for Rehabilitation, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility on the Orlando Health-Health Central Hospital Ocoee campus. The new facility will include a 60-bed rehabilitation unit, 40-bed Alzheimer’s unit and 10-bed hospice wing to provide inpatient care in a homelike setting. The West Orange Healthcare District is investing $24.5 million to make the rehabilitation center a reality and another $1.25 million for the hospice wing. The facility is expected to open in 2019.
