DOCUMENTARY ADDRESSES LOCAL OPIOID MISUSE

In the past five years, opioids have become an all-too-common topic of discussion in our country. The harsh reality about opioids – from prescription drugs like hydrocodone and morphine to street drugs like heroine and fentanyl — is that their impacts are hitting much closer to home.

That’s why the District commissioned a documentary called It Impacts Us All as a way to increase real awareness about the problem in west Orange County.

Earlier this month we introduced the video to our partners in education, healthcare, law enforcement and government, and have now made the documentary available to everyone for download. We also created a screening guide, so that it can be seen and discussed among families and in schools, churches, and civic and community group meetings.

Check out the documentary here and learn more about how we can tackle this problem together.
