DISTRICT INVESTS IN THE ORLANDO HEALTH CENTER FOR REHABILITATION

The Orlando Health Center for Rehabilitation is nearly ready for its first patients! When it opens later this summer, the beautiful new facility on Orlando-Health Health Central Hospital’s campus will offer in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation, a memory care unit and a 10-bed wing operated by Cornerstone Hospice.

The District invested $24.5 million toward the construction of the center and another $1.25 million lead grant to Cornerstone’s hospice wing. Above from left, Orlando Health-Health Central Hospital President Mark Marsh, Cornerstone Hospice CEO Chuck Lee, and West Orange Healthcare District CEO Tracy Swanson and Chair Mark Griffith celebrate the facility’s ribbon cutting on May 23.
