DISTRICT AWARDS GRANT TO MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY ASSOCIATION

The Muscular Dystrophy Association was awarded a $20,000 District grant to fully fund a week a MDA summer sleep-away camp for 20 local children. The camp provides special nutrition, fitness and fun activities for kids with Muscular Dystrophy, ALS or related muscle-debilitation diseases. Since 2015, the District has funded camp scholarships for a total of 48 children in west Orange County. Learn more about MDA’s mission here.
